"Our friends in the Of Monsters and Men Army had sent in some questions from fans a while back. Here are Raggi and Nanna with some answers while in Atlantic City, June 2013 #tbt #omamtbt" -Of Monsters and Men
Check out this video of our (fan submitted) interview questions being answered by Nanna and Raggi! Thanks to those of you who sent in questions a while back for this and for your patience We have exciting news!
A little over a year ago, some of you submitted questions to OMAM Army to send in to OMaM to be answered. While in Atlantic City, New Jersey on tour in June of 2013, Nanna and Raggi answered the questions for us. David Gallardo | Director recorded Nanna and Raggi's answers on video and OMaM will be posting the video tomorrow for the special #OMaMtbt! The picture, also credited to David Gallardo, was taken when Nanna and Raggi were answering these questions (the paper Raggi is holding is the email from the Army). We know some of you have been asking when we would be getting the answers, so get excited for #OMaMtbt tomorrow! x Nanna, Kiddi, and Brynjar compete in Whiskey trivia for a bottle of Johnnie Walker Black Label.
This interview was first posted online by MSN Entertainment Canada last year, but was recently uploaded to YouTube. If you have seen OMaM live, you have probably seen them play an unreleased track that didn't make MHIAA, 'Beneath My Bed.' Here's one of the stories behind the track that we've heard:
It's about his one-time downstairs neighbor, and how Raggi almost killed him by almost setting the house on fire. Nanna interjected saying "you were cooking in the middle of the night..." and Raggi said "yes, I was cooking spaghetti in the middle of the night, and I fell asleep. And I don't even like spaghetti." Of course, the neighbor survived the night and the house is still standing. Here’s the record store interview with Nanna, translated by us. Enjoy!
